Testimonials:

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend.  We had never been before and really didn't know what to expect, but thought we would give it a try.  The staff was awesome and made it a point to interact with all the kids and made everyone feel important, wanted, and loved. We had a chance as a family to see and get to know other kids and families faced with the same challenges that we have. It was a relaxing weekend for all of us and we made new friends and are still doing "the cheer...we feel soo good" several times a day. The food was delicious and the variety was excellent. We can't say enough on how this changed our lives and the impact it had on all of us.  The facilities were awesome, but the staff made it even better.  Thanks again for everything.

I have volunteered at CCK for several family weekends and I'm inspired by the campers and families that I meet every time I come.  This past weekend I had a wonderful time, and I realized how much this experience really means for the whole family.  Parents are able to talk to other parents who are dealing with the same struggles.  The campers get to act silly, dance, sing, and simply enjoy just being a kid.

CCK is a blessing to my family in more ways than you can ever imagine.

When we pulled out of camp after a weekend of respite and fun, my son looked at me and said, “Do you think Cubby the lion will miss me?”

"We spent the most wonderful weekend with our grandson at your camp. Our daughter had told us about their previous camp weekends, but experiencing it for ourselves was such a heartwarming time.”

If you would like to submit your personal testimony, please send it to info@courageouskids.org We would love to hear from you.
