The Background of The Center for Courageous Kids
The Center for Courageous Kids, the dba of Project C.A.M.P. (Children Are Magnificent People), is a tax exempt IRS 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation founded in October 2004 to respond to the expanding needs of therapeutic camps for children with chronic diseases in Kentucky, Tennessee, and the surrounding states. We are a world class medical camping facility providing free and memorable camping experiences for children with life threatening diseases and disabilities. This is a wonderful place where each child can achieve their personal best, make new friends, and have the time of their lives.
